Watching 4 measures behind the findings

  • CLP label rules, in the chemicals omnibus

Parliament and Council agreed on 16 June 2026 to strengthen legibility rules for consumer labels. Rechecked, no finding changes.

    Status: To review
  • Film biodegradability criteria, Regulation (EU) 2026/405

  • Risk assessment method for micro-organisms

  • Digital labelling rules for detergents

What we need from you

Four things, shared at setup before the project starts.

  1. Your products

Your products with their formulations, or their safety data sheets and supplier declarations.

  2. Your markets

Where each product sells, so the assessment covers every market the change reaches.

  3. The change

The change to assess: a new regulation, an amendment, or a proposal still in progress.

  4. Your approver

The person who agrees the requirements and approves the assessment.

What teams ask about this project

How do you decide what reaches each product?

Foresight breaks the change into its requirements, such as a labelling rule, a test or a limit, and your expert agrees them first. Each product is then checked against each requirement, using its formulation, its classification and its current label. Where a requirement doesn’t reach a product, the assessment records why.

Where does the evidence come from?

From the change itself and the rules it touches: the regulation’s articles and annexes, and the regulators’ own guidance. Every finding links to its source, so your team can check the wording directly.

Does it cover what we sell in Great Britain?

Yes, market by market. Regulation (EU) 2026/405 doesn’t apply in Great Britain, where the 2004 Detergents Regulation still applies in its GB form. Where one pack sells in both, the assessment shows what each market needs from its label.

Who checks the assessment before we use it?

The person you name. They agree the requirements before any checking starts, and check the findings against their sources at the end. Nothing is final until they approve it. These checks reduce the risk of error without removing it.

What happens when the change moves?

When a rule under the change is adopted or amended, such as the film criteria the Commission still has to set, Foresight rechecks the cells it affects. The assessment your expert approved stays as it is until they accept the update.

What does it cost?

The price follows the assessment’s size: how many products, requirements and markets it covers. You see it with the scope, before any checking starts.
