What teams ask about Monitoring
Is Monitoring the same as horizon scanning?
Monitoring is how Foresight does horizon scanning. It watches regulators, legislatures and journals, and the Regulatory horizon scanning project scores what it finds for your organisation, most important first.
Who writes the alerts?
Foresight’s agents write each regulatory alert from the official source. Foresight’s team publishes regulatory alerts and resolves the items its agents pass to them. Each literature alert summarises its paper and links to it.
Is the score checked by an expert?
No. The score is automatic: 70 or more is High, 40 to 69 is Medium and below 40 is Low. Each alert shows the reasons behind its score. If a score looks wrong, tell Foresight from the alert.
How quickly do alerts arrive?
Regulatory alerts reach your feed as Foresight publishes them, and your digest brings them daily or weekly. Foresight checks the scientific literature for new papers every day.
Can we change what’s monitored?
Yes. Ask Foresight to add substances, keywords or markets, and the team updates your profile.
Can Foresight watch competitors or the trade press?
Yes, as a project. Request a custom project from your Projects page and describe what you need watched. Foresight scopes it with you.
The rest of the platform
Each part works on the same Foresight records: the alerts, the substances and the key dates.
- ProjectsWork Foresight runs for you, from a substance risk heatmap to a REACH dossier, with your expert approving the result.
- AssistantAsk about any regulation in plain words. Sourced facts are marked, so you can open the source.
- DocumentsImpact notes your team writes with the Assistant. When the law changes, update only the passage it affects.
- ListsThe tables projects run on, filled by Foresight’s agents with sourced facts and checked by its experts.
- WorkflowsChecks Foresight runs step by step when something changes, with your team approving the results.
