EU Battery Recycled Content Methodology Moves To Draft Stage

They should test whether required data can be produced at product, plant and accounting-period level. Recyclers and metals suppliers should identify where certificates or allocation records need clearer links to downstream batteries.
Stakeholders should submit focused evidence by 9 September where the proposed calculation creates disproportionate workload, ambiguity or verification gaps. They should not represent the draft method as final or claim that the 2031 targets already apply.
