Your products
Your product ranges and what’s in them, from formulations or safety data sheets.
Your markets
Where you sell today, and where you plan to sell next.
Your priorities
What’s most urgent for you, such as a product launch or a label change.
Your approver
The person who agrees the scope and approves the tracker.
What teams ask about this project
How do you decide which consultations touch us?
Against a scope you set, or one Foresight drafts for your expert to agree: the bodies to watch, the kinds of consultation to include and what counts as touching you. Each consultation is then checked against your substances and products, so the tracker lists only the consultations that reach you.
Where does the evidence come from?
From the consultations themselves: government consultation pages, the European Commission’s Have your say portal, regulators’ own pages and WTO notifications of draft rules. Every entry links to its source, so your team can check the dates directly.
Does it cover consultations outside chemicals law?
Yes, where they touch your substances. The Home Office’s consultation on the Poisons Act is about security, yet it would change how potassium nitrate can be sold in GB.
Who checks the tracker before we use it?
The person you name. They agree the scope before any tracking starts, and check each entry against its page at the end. Nothing is final until they approve it. These checks reduce the risk of error without removing it.
What happens when a consultation opens or changes?
When a consultation opens, a closing date moves or a decision follows, Foresight adds or rechecks the entry. The tracker your expert approved stays as it is until they accept the change.
What does it cost?
The price follows the tracker’s size: how many products, substances and markets it covers. You see it with the scope, before any tracking starts.
More ways to keep watch
Each runs the same way, with your expert approving the result.
