Watching 4 measures behind the answers

  • REACH Candidate List, 253 entries

  • EU RoHS exemption 6(c), leaded copper alloys

From 1 July 2026, 6(c) runs to 30 June 2027 for every category, and covers parts children could mouth only if lead release is low. Rechecked, still exempt.

    Status: To review
  • EU restriction of aromatic brominated flame retardants

  • EU POPs Regulation, medium-chain chlorinated paraffins

What we need from you

Four things, shared at setup before the project starts.

  1. Your customers’ requests

The questionnaires waiting for an answer, with each customer’s form and due date.

  2. Your records

What you know about each product: bills of materials, supplier declarations, test reports and your past answers, so each new answer starts from what you last told that customer.

  3. Your priorities

What’s most urgent for you, such as a customer’s deadline or a product launch.

  4. Your approver

The person who agrees the answer rules and approves each answer.

What teams ask about this project

How is each answer worked out?

From answer rules your expert agrees first: which list or law each question means, its version, and how its threshold applies. The REACH Candidate List, for example, has had 253 entries since its update of 4 February 2026. REACH counts 0.1% of each article, including each part of an assembly, while EU RoHS counts each homogeneous material. Your expert can start from the rules you already answer by, or from a set Foresight drafts.

Where does each answer come from?

From two places. Your records say what’s in each product, and the regulation gives the rule. Every answer links to both: the declaration or test report it rests on, and the official text behind the rule.

What if our records don’t answer a question?

The answer stays open and the gap is named, such as a supplier declaration that’s missing or out of date, so you know what to ask for. Nothing is answered on an assumption.

Who checks the answers before they go out?

The person you name. They agree the answer rules before drafting starts, and check each answer against its record and rule. Nothing goes to a customer until they approve it. These checks reduce the risk of error without removing it.

What happens when a rule changes?

Foresight rechecks the answers it affects, such as when ECHA adds to the Candidate List or a RoHS exemption moves. No answer changes until your expert approves the new one.

What does it cost?

The price follows how many customers, questionnaires and products it covers. You see it with the scope, before any drafting starts.
